There was a time when people were afraid of coming to the parks in downtown Chicago on the weekend. Chicago fought back by making downtown a must destination on anyone's list, locals and tourists. Because of large crowds crime has been minimized if not eradicated. Millenium park has been the creative answer to bring life back to a sad state of affairs.
